Calling all Singers!
Have you ever experienced
singing as part of a massed choir of over 150 voices accompanied by Organ and Brass? Well on the
Solemnity of Christ the King, 24th November 2019, we are holding our second Songs of Joyful Praise event at Mount Melleray Abbey. During the music workshop from 2-4pm, led by Dom Richard Purcell, the Abbot of Mount Melleray, the hymns and songs for this event will be taught to the participants. There will be a nice mix of new and familiar pieces, in differed styles,
including The Servant King, Living Lord (Lord Jesus Christ) and How Great thou Art. A music book is
supplied and refreshments provided – all for €10. The Liturgy at 5pm is open to all. A wonderful way to mark the feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.Bookings & enquiries:
